Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, dietary intake, and behavioral changes
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and using medical equipment safely
- Administer medications as per state regulations and facility protocols
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals for coordinated care
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Support emotional well-being through companionship and active listening
Qualifications
- Active Georgia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in long-term care or geriatric settings
- Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
