Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring the highest level of dignity and comfort.
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities immediately.
- Assistance with Daily Living: Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking, utilizing proper body mechanics to ensure safety for both the patient and staff.
- Medication Management: Support the nursing team by administering medications as prescribed and documenting all treatments and observations in electronic health records.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to update them on patient conditions and care plans.
- Hygiene & Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, including changing linens and ensuring proper infection control protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- License: Current, unencumbered Georgia CNA license and CPR/BLS certification required.
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA is preferred; weekend experience is a major plus.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

- Reliability: Dependable attendance and punctuality for weekend shifts.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients regularly throughout the shift.
