Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
- Document patient care activities, intake, and output accurately in medical records.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients with special dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment to prevent infection.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Nevada.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and transfers.
- Previous experience in long-term care or a medical facility is preferred but not required.
