Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a fast-paced medical setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Document patient care activities and update medical records in the electronic health record system.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team, patients, and their families regarding care plans and progress.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Texas.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required by the job.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
