Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients to enhance their quality of life.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments under the supervision of registered nurses.
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary patient rooms and common areas.
- Document patient care activities, intake and output, and changes in patient conditions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license currently active in the state of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with patient mobility.
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
