Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation safely.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team and patients' families.
- Ensure the patient environment is clean, safe, and comfortable.
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current, valid CNA license in the state of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and assist with lifting.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
