Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and skilled CNAs to provide high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. In this role, you will be the eyes and ears of our nursing staff, ensuring our patients feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared for.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring them safely from beds to wheelchairs or walkers using proper body mechanics.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment to prevent infection and ensure maximum comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and address patient concerns.
- Support medical procedures and assist registered nurses with various clinical tasks.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license and current registration in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of patient empathy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients as required by the job duties.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
