As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential support to patients and ensure their comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse, accurately.
- Provide basic bedside care to patients in various healthcare settings.
- Assist with mobility issues, including transferring patients from beds to wheelchairs.
- Document patient care plans and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as required.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented attitude.
- High school diploma or GED required.
