Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfer using proper body mechanics and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current North Carolina CNA Certification (or eligible to obtain).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- One year of experience as a CNA in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Clean criminal background check and drug screen required.
