Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transferring, and walking to prevent falls.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Observe and report any changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff.
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean, safe environment.
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in the state of Illinois.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to lift and move patients weighing up to 250 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
