Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate.
- Assist with feeding and hydration for patients with dietary restrictions.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff and healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient progress, incidents, and care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Current and active Ohio CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs safely.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient dignity and comfort.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
