Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, surgical suites, or laboratories using wheelchairs, stretchers, or strollers.
- Assist registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) with medical procedures and documentation.
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests for assistance to ensure safety and comfort.
- Change bed linens and maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required and in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Valid state-issued ID and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
