Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning patients safely.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and charge nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or home health setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work various shifts.
