Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and patient behavior
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Support nurses with clinical tasks such as wound care and specimen collection
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and patient families
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and facility-specific care plans
Qualifications
- Active Missouri CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in acute care or long-term setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation to various Kansas City locations
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
