Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring and walking using assistive devices.
- Monitor patient dietary intake and output as directed by nursing staff.
- Document patient care activities, changes in patient condition, and completed tasks accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments while ensuring their comfort and safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNA Certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands.
- Candidates with no prior experience must demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and a compassionate demeanor.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
