Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Monitor vital signs and report significant changes in patient condition to the nursing staff promptly.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and personal hygiene to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and visitors.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed personnel.
Qualifications
- Valid and current CNA Certification (State of California).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients as required.
