Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems, needs, and physical and psychosocial conditions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Monitor patients' conditions continuously and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Document patient care services in medical records and charts in an accurate and timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide health education and guidance to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care or relevant nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Computer literacy with Electronic Health Records (EHR) experience.
