Job Summary:
As a CNA at our Top Hospital, you will provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs, and assist the nursing staff in ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding as needed.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with mobility and transfer of patients to ensure safety.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly patient environment.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses.
- Document all care provided in the electronic health record system.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Kentucky.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
