Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient behavior, and health changes
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls
- Administer medications under nurse supervision as per state guidelines
- Maintain clean and sanitized resident environments
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members
- Participate in care planning meetings and documentation
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of long-term care or hospital experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal skills with empathy and patience
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Background check and drug screen clearance
