Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety.
- Communicate patient changes in condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe patient environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Current Florida State CNA Certification (CNA License) required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital or nursing home setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use EMR systems.
