Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility as needed.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Patient Comfort & Hygiene: Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, including changing linens and feeding assistance.
- Communication: Relay important patient information to the nursing staff and doctors promptly and accurately.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.
- Emergency Response: Respond quickly to patient emergencies and assist in maintaining a safe facility environment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current, unencumbered Texas CNA license required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred but not always mandatory.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient care techniques.
- Compassion: A genuine passion for helping others and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as required.
