Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and families regarding patient conditions and needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Administer medication as directed by the RN, ensuring proper documentation and timing.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
