Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding assistance, and mobility support.
- Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration) and document patient health updates accurately in electronic health records.
- Assist licensed nurses with procedures, treatments, and medication administration as directed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment to prevent infection and ensure comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and concerns.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations following established protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and active California CNA License.
- CPR/BLS Certification (ACLS preferred but not required).
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
