Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics to ensure safety.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents and staff.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient status and concerns.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Florida.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to patient care.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
