Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Change linens and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff or supervisor.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the RN or LPN.
Qualifications
- Valid California CNA Certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to different locations.
