Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care and compassionate support to all patients.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and report changes in condition immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, discharge planning, and health maintenance.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all safety and infection control policies.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
