Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and accurately record medical history and vital signs.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain equipment.
- Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and communicate lab results.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory.
- 1-3 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health record systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
