Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to implement patient care plans effectively.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient interactions and care activities accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and assist with lifting patients.
