Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance to patients of all ages.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
  • Assist patients with mobility issues, providing transfer assistance and wheelchair support as needed.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to strict physician orders and hospital protocols.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment to prevent infection and ensure patient comfort.

Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the state of Tennessee required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Basic Arrhythmia Certification preferred.
