Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Support patients with mobility issues, including transferring and ambulating safely.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Document patient care plans, changes in condition, and communicate with nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Current CNA certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Valid state-issued nursing assistant license.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
