Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent skin breakdown and bedsores.
- Assist patients with feeding and hygiene as needed.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients and visitors.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, surgery, or other departments using wheelchairs or stretchers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred; no prior CNA experience required for qualified candidates.
- Willingness to obtain CNA certification and state licensure upon hire.
- Strong compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Basic English language proficiency for clear communication.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently during shifts.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
