Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and document patient care accurately.
- Respond to patient calls and requests for assistance promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas, appointments, or surgical suites.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- CNA certification (or willingness to obtain) is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (optional but preferred).
