Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
- Monitor Health Status: Track vital signs and report any significant changes in a patient’s condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Medication Assistance: Support patients with medication reminders and administration as directed by licensed personnel.
- Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Oklahoma CNA Certification and current state license.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not always required for immediate hires.
- CPR/BLS: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
