Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure maximum safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team regarding care plans.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized patient environment in strict compliance with healthcare standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition promptly and accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with heavy lifting.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
