Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transferring, and positioning safely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patient care.
- Administer medication and document care according to facility protocols.
- Support patients with daily living activities (ADLs) to ensure their comfort and dignity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be willing to obtain CNA certification or State Licensure if not already held.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic health record (EHR) documentation.
