Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding assistance, and mobility support.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately.
- Assist patients with transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Document patient care activities and any changes in condition in the electronic medical record.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and family members regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA certification (state-specific) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
