Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, transfers, and walking.
- Report changes in patient condition or concerns to the Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Assist with medical equipment and document care activities accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Qualifications
- CNA Certification or State Licensure required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient dignity and respect.
- Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.
