Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with patient hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Support patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
- Maintain clean and organized patient care environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Report patient changes or concerns promptly to medical team
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Background check and drug screen clearance
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
