Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and safety equipment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition and report concerns to registered nurses and physicians.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with sanitation standards.
- Prepare patients for medical procedures and assist with documentation of care plans.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Arizona CNA License.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association) must be maintained.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not always required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
