Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding assistance, and mobility support.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in medical condition.
- Assist licensed nurses with medical procedures, wound care, and patient transfers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Administer medications as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Georgia CNA or LPN license required.
- CPR/BLS certification must be valid and up-to-date.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a patient-centered approach to care.
