As a CNA at our top-rated facility, you will work closely with our registered nurses and physicians to ensure our patients receive the best possible support during their stay. We value professionalism, integrity, and compassion in every aspect of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Report any changes in a patient's condition, behavior, or mood to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with ambulation and transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, or stretchers.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients, including changing linens and sanitizing equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current State of California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- CPR certification (BLS) is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
