Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment at all times.
- Communicate any changes in a patient's condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Support patients with daily living activities and emotional needs with empathy and patience.
Qualifications
- Current Oklahoma CNA certification (or LPN/RN) required.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
