Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care during weekend shifts, including comprehensive assessment, triage, and treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, clinical notes, and shift reports.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and discharge planning.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team immediately.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently during shifts.
