Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist nurses with patient transfers, mobility support, and repositioning.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents and patients.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the charge nurse immediately.
- Document all care provided and patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the state of Missouri.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong compassion for the elderly and chronically ill.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
