Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility support to ensure patient safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records (EHR).
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to strict protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Nebraska.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
- Willingness to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
