Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor Health Status: Observe and report changes in patient condition, vital signs, and behavior to the RN or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Administer Medications: Assist with medication administration as directed, ensuring accurate timing and documentation.
- Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, following all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding care plans and patient status.
- Record Keeping: Accurately complete all required documentation and shift reports in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Current Certification: Valid and active CNA license in the state of Arizona.
- Experience: Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Reliability: Ability to work rotating night shifts (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with a strong focus on attendance and punctuality.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
