Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs).
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs and patient health status.
- Assist in the preparation and administration of medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff, physicians, and families regarding patient conditions.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
