Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and resident conditions
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
- Administer medications and treatments under RN supervision
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop resident care plans
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year CNA experience in long-term care or hospital setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Valid California driver's license (preferred for transport duties)
