- Apply ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for proper reimbursement
- Resolve claim denials and appeals efficiently
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document services
- Stay updated on CMS and payer policy changes
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records
Qualifications
- 2+ years medical billing experience required
- Certification (CPC, CMA, or CCS) preferred
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Blue Cross guidelines
