Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations.
- Collaborate effectively with the nursing team to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Texas CNA License required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience in long-term care or nursing facilities preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible night shift hours and weekends as needed.
